Schools cancelled. Work cancelled. Events cancelled. Some trips cancelled. Many restaurants closed. This is March 2020. Well, not everything is cancelled. Whether you’re single, boo’d up, living with a roommate, got the kiddos or living with your parents there are several productive things to do while waiting out COVID-19.

Literally call them. I am sure pretty much everyone is experiencing the effects of this pandemic is some way or the next. It’s okay to dial a friend to chat, you’ll probably alleviate some of their anxiety or even your own (if any).
- Get to Work- Research Your Passion
Just because the world outside is shutdown doesn’t mean you don’t have work to do. Have you ever wanted to start a business, blog, or start an YouTube channel? Baby girl, now is the time to get to work. Research all the steps to start your business. Learn about ways to start a blog. You could even practice speaking into a camera if you want to start a YT channel. The internet is well and thriving, get to researching.
- Catch Up on Some Good Books
I know you have a book or maybe 2 sitting around that you want to start or have started but not finished. I absolutely love reading. Reading a good book is so transformative. It adds insight and adventure to your cognizance without actually experiencing the topic, firsthand. It’s like secondhand knowledge, all the value without the work.
- Bond with Your Family
When was the last time you had dinner with your closet loved ones? Or if they’re not in your area, when was the last you bonded with your housemates? If you can, sit down a play a game, have dinner or crack a few jokes. Coming together could prove to be beneficial, from the throwback memories you'll be creating.
- Organizing Your Closet/ Deep Clean Your House
Technically, it is spring cleaning time. Spend some time taking out the old, deep cleaning, and planning to eventually drop off your old items to charity ( of course, time of drop off isn’t a high priority).
